Familiarisation Visits

Whether it’s B2B or B2C, familiarisation visits are excellent ways to showcase your business to key markets and customers.

Working with attractions, accommodation providers, restaurants and retail businesses, Wanderlust Marketing has experience in putting together itineraries to attract group organisers, coach operators and others in the travel trade to come and visit an area and meet the key players.

We can do this for your business too.

What is a familiarisation visit?

Familiarisation visits target the customers you want to visit your attraction or destination, they allow you to put the spotlight on a place and focus on the message you want to get across to your key customers. Guided tours and familiarisation visits consolidate a place in the mind of the customer – they will remember what they have seen and enjoyed and will hopefully return again with more visitors.

Visits can be anything from half a day to a weekend stay. The length of visit depends on what you want to achieve and who you are targeting.

Who would benefit?

Familiarisation visits are organised so that your business raises its profile, attracts more visits or benefits from the positive publicity generated by the visit. This is a collaborative venture and your input is vital if you are to get the most from a familiarisation visit.

We can put together bespoke itineraries for schools based on the needs of the National Curriculum, organise themed tours for press and travel trade, arrange for group organisers to visit an attraction they want to include in their future itineraries or help relocating businesses to retain staff by showcasing the area the are moving to.

What we do

After an initial meeting with a client Wanderlust Marketing will put together a timed itinerary to include accommodation, meals, coach travel between venues and guided tours if needed. All the tours would be tailored to your individual requirements and would include feedback reports from customers attending the visit if requested.
